wide open like a wound

a poem.

With wide openness like a wound,
I inscribe an ancient rune,
thoughts scattered like typhoons,
hoping this sorrow will fade soon.

-

Whatever season of life you’re in,
even if your mind spins and spins,
we are made to withstand stress alone,
but that doesn’t mean you can’t groan,

-

Your heart is not heavy to me;
I will carry it until the highest degree,
let your feelings flow and rest,
the tears that grieve you don't make you less.

-

Let your wound bleed and hurt,
even if people smudge it with dirt,
the air you breathe will gain lightness like the wind,
even if there’s only the littlest hope in the corner of your mind.
