some things shatter, and some things bloom.

I woke up early today. As I watch the sunset and sip my morning coffee.

Suddenly, I saw a mirror beside me, I looked at my reflection and saw blemishes within me, the scars of the past, the puffiness of my eyes due to crying, and the tiredness I got from reviewing the night before. And for the first time, I accepted it.

I have accepted every flaw that lies within me. Because that’s the beauty of life — it’s not perfect.

I have come to realize that life is just like every book. It has its unique chapters, revealing secrets that are yet to unfold, and an ending filled with unpredictability.

We don’t know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future — God.

And I can say with confidence that life is not so bad once you accept every moment as it is and learn to push through despite difficulty.

Some things may shatter, but you have the power to piece it all back together. You’ll glue it firmly and never let it come apart. Trust in yourself—you will bloom in your own time.
