retreat 2025

We have only two months of school left before we go our separate ways. Our meeting was inevitable, but now it’s time for us to make decisions that will truly benefit our future.

I am thankful for the people I have met during high school. Each day, I cherish the wonderful moments we have created together.

To my lunch buddies with whom I share hundreds of dishes and laughter. Thank you for making recess time such a wonderful experience.

I want to thank my seatmates, who I could always rely on when I needed the right answers. Our constant chatter, which frustrated our teacher, was harsh but unforgettable.

To my teachers, who are exceptionally brilliant and kind, thank you for the lessons I carry with me every day. The moral values are always in my heart, waiting for the right moment to shine. Although some of them can be slightly annoying, I know there’s always a small lesson that I can use someday.

To my classmates, thank you for making my high school journey unforgettable. Each classroom echoes different stories and complex lives, but there lies one purpose — to learn, to benefit, and to be a stepping stone for a brighter future.

Now that we’re each choosing a different strand, I hope that the endless joy will remain in our hearts forever.

Cheers to the nostalgic feeling of sleepless nights, endless assignments, nerve-wracking recitations, boring lectures, dance competitions, getting scolded by a teacher, colorful events, hurried reviews, and numerous group activities.

Thank you, junior high school. 🏫🎒
