When I first saw you, my first impression of you was rather different from now. I always thought you were not a good person and just merely a little too much of me.
At first, I didn’t care for you. Perhaps I was being too quick to judge, or maybe you just have an intimidating presence.
It makes me wonder how people can fall in love with someone at first sight. How can they be certain that this person is the right one for them based on their appearance? How can they know if this person is truly compatible with them?
On a random Monday morning, I fell in love with you. I don’t know how — I just did.
I saw how you treat animals, how respectful you are with elders, how you care for your family, how smart you are in class, how talented you are, how pure your heart is, and how kindness beams inside of you every day.
Finally, I saw a different side of you, I saw you in a new light, and I fell in love with you all over again — Love at second sight.
