deepest plea

a poem.

let me tell you a tale,
of a girl who didn't belong,
had less than one friend to tell,
and can't seem to be strong.

-

she often stumbles and falls,
never had the decency to ask,
shut down every call,
behind her "perfect student" mask.

-

deep cuts, scars, and bruises,
her struggles never wane,
there she is struggling to fuse,
as she tries not to be a fool in vain,

-

within every weakness and fear,
she whispers her deepest plea,
to let her spirit soar, crystal clear,
and hold fast the light within thee.
